It is not the usual 'paarkkamalae kaadhal' which seems to be the trend in tamil movies nowadays. At least we have to be thankful for that.
Ajit and Malavika meet each other in Australia and they fall in love
after a few fights. They go to India after their studies and don't know each other's
address in India. Ajit's mom (Srividya) is estranged from her family ever since she
married Mouli against her family's wishes. Ajit goes to his mom's village as Karan's
friend, to attend a relative's wedding and tries to unite his mom with her family members.
Needless to say, he sees Malavika there, 
who is engaged to ... none other than Karan! After a lot of fights and
arguments, all ends well and Srividya is united with her family members and Ajit weds
Malavika.
The initial half where Ajit and Malavika meet in Australia, is very similar to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Sundar.C could have done a lot better than this. If you expect a full-length comedy, you will be sadly disappointed. Don't waste money going to the theater. Just watch it on tape.
