It is a family story and, as the title indicates, the director tells us that budgeting and proper financial planning are essential in any household. Kushboo-Livingston, Kanaka-Vivek and Kovai Sarala-Vadivelu are all
neighbors. The 3 husbands are mechanics in Madras Motor Co. and all 3 are drunkards,
spendthrifts and irresponsible. They have a huge debt, borrowed to make ends meet. But
they feel that sending their wives to work would bruise their ego. The scenes where the husbands ill-treat their wives reminds you of the movie "Kaalam Maari Pochu" especially Kovai Sarala-Vadivelu scenes. Nasar has absolutely no role in the movie, other than just cook and wash Oorvasi's clothes. Kushboo and Livingston have given a good performance. Kanaka looks nice and slim. Worth watching with the whole family. Original Photograph (Viralukketha Veekkam):
